Jerez is located in a fertile area for agriculture and livestock. Another hallmark is the Carthusian horse breeding, an Andalusian horse breed dating from the fiftheenth century. Through our visit we will get to know Jerez, an Andalusian city that collects art, history, horses, wine cellars and flamenco. Surely, the warmth and friendliness of its people with rub on us.
VISIT TO A WINE CELLAR
By means of a deluxe visit to a wine cellar, we will learn how it is produced one of the world's most renowned wines, sherry. An expert guide will explain all the details and secrets of fermentation and aging of wine. After the tour we will taste several young wines and some over twenty-year-old wines in a unique setting.
VISIT TO JEREZ
We will get to know the city, its history and atmosphere while we walk around the streets and enjoy their local cuisine, famous for its tapas, seafood and the most famous wine of the area: manzanilla wine. Will visit four “tabacos” (typical local bars), and taste different kinds of local wines combined with exquisite and select tapas.
Flamenco is a fundamental part of these bars and so we will have the opportunity to experience the magic that comes from the union of wine and a flamenco party.
